Luxben: Where Luxury Feels Like Coming Home

Hi, I'm Sophie, the founder of Luxben. 

The beginning of the story took place in the attic which served as my grandmother's storage area for her possessions. She gave me the 1960s dress while we were organizing her collection of vintage items. The silk fabric maintained its flexibility during the test but the lace fabric showed no signs of damage. The dress seemed to carry the echoes of past events because I could sense the music and laughter from all the parties she had attended while wearing it. The dress functioned as a memory carrier because its manufacturing process required the exacting standards which modern society no longer maintains. 

At that moment, Luxben was born. I worked to preserve traditional heritage through my design process which resulted in beautiful garments that evolved into individual stories instead of simple clothing items. 

Luxben derives its name from my dual core values which include understated luxury and the benefit of total comfort in your own body. The essence of luxury for me exists in perfectly made items from premium materials which create a self-assured appearance. 

Every Luxben dress is designed to be a future heirloom. We obtain deadstock silks and sustainable linens from European small mills which become more comfortable with each use. Our designs produce body-enhancing silhouettes which provide comfort because beauty should never demand discomfort. 

We support the practice of slow fashion which suits people who live in a quick world. Investing in a single perfect dress which you will wear frequently makes more sense than buying numerous dresses that you will not use often.
